Acceptable Use Policy
Emarze sends messages on your behalf on platforms we do not own. These are the rules that keep your account, and everyone else's, in good standing.
Effective 9 September 2026
01Why this policy exists
Emarze sends messages on your behalf, on platforms we do not own. Misuse does not just harm the people receiving those messages — it gets Pages restricted, WhatsApp numbers banned, and our platform access reviewed. One account behaving badly can put every other merchant at risk.
This policy applies to everyone using an Emarze account, including your staff.
02Messaging rules
- Reply, do not broadcast. Emarze is for answering people who contacted you. Do not use it to send unsolicited bulk messages.
- Respect the platform windows. Meta’s 24-hour messaging window and its rules on message tags and template messages apply to you. Do not try to work around them.
- Honour opt-outs. If someone asks to stop hearing from you, stop.
- Be honest about the agent. Do not claim a human wrote a message when the agent did, and never tell a customer they are speaking to a named employee who does not exist.
- Do not buy or scrape contact lists and load them in.
03What you may not sell through it
You may not use Emarze to sell, promote or take orders for anything that is illegal in Bangladesh or in the country of the customer, including:
- Drugs, controlled substances and the equipment for taking them.
- Prescription medicines sold without a prescription, and unapproved medical or health claims.
- Weapons, ammunition and explosives.
- Counterfeit goods and pirated media or software.
- Wildlife, protected species and products made from them.
- Stolen goods and stolen account credentials.
- Gambling, betting, lotteries and multi-level marketing schemes.
- Sexual services, and adult material of any kind.
- Financial products you are not licensed to offer, including unregulated lending and foreign currency dealing.
04Prohibited conduct
- Impersonating another business, a public figure, a government body or Emarze itself.
- Harassment, threats, hate speech, or content targeting anyone on the basis of religion, ethnicity, gender, disability or origin.
- Deceptive pricing, fake stock scarcity, or promising delivery terms you have no intention of meeting.
- Collecting more personal data from customers than the sale requires, or collecting payment card details in chat.
- Attempting to break, overload, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to the service.
- Reselling, sublicensing or white-labelling Emarze without a written agreement with us.
- Using the service to build a competing product, or to train a competing model.
- Sharing one account across separate businesses to avoid paying for each.
05What you remain responsible for
The agent replies on your behalf, so its messages are your messages. You are responsible for configuring it properly, setting handoff rules for anything sensitive, and reviewing what it does.
06How we enforce this
We do not read your conversations looking for violations. We act on reports, on platform notices, and on automated signals of abuse such as sudden bulk sending.
Depending on what we find, we may:
- Warn you and ask you to fix it.
- Disable a specific feature or channel.
- Suspend the account while we investigate.
- Terminate the account, with no refund.
- Report the matter to the platform or to the authorities.
For serious or illegal activity we will act immediately and without warning. Otherwise we will tell you what the problem is and give you a chance to put it right.
07Reporting abuse
If you have received a message through Emarze that breaks these rules, tell us at contact@emarze.com with the subject Abuse report. Include the shop’s name, the platform, and a screenshot if you have one. We investigate every report and will tell you the outcome.
08Contact us
Questions about this policy can go to our team, who will answer within five working days.
